Designation procedure
Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service among medical institutions under Article 3 of the Medical Act and public health centers under Article 7 of the Regional Health Act (including health and medical centers under Article 8 of the Regional Health Act) that meet the criteria for manpower and facilities prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Employment and Labor. This designated medical institution or public health center may be designated as a medical institution in charge of recuperation of workers who have suffered work-related accidents. 산재지정병원

Criteria by type of medical institution
1. General Hospital: A medical institution that meets the common standards in Item A.
2.Hospitals, dental hospitals, oriental hospitals, convalescent hospitals, clinics, dental clinics, oriental medical clinics, and public health centers (health care centers): Medical institutions that have received 80 percent or more of the total points assigned to the following designation criteria
Hospitals and Health Care Centers
This is a table of hospitals and health care centers that provides information on classification, criteria for scoring by category, and distribution of points.
Classification Criteria for Points for Each Category Points for Points
Manpower standards Doctors and specialists (excluding obstetricians and gynecologists and pediatric specialists. Hereinafter the same in this table)

Nurses Average nurses (including nurse assistants, hereinafter the same) for the average number of beds in general wards in the quarter immediately preceding the quarter to which the date of application for designation belongs (the date of establishment, if a medical institution was established in the quarter to which the date of application for designation belongs. The same shall apply hereinafter). If the percentage of numbers is 25 percent or more: 5 points
When the ratio of the average number of nurses to the average number of beds in general wards in the quarter immediately preceding the quarter to which the date of application for designation belongs is less than 25%: 3 points 5
